Child abuse casts a shadow the length of a lifetime

Child abuse casts a shadow the length of a lifetime.

Child labour in terms of begging is used as a profession by insecure group of people that forces children to beg. A child can earn maximum money by begging. They show burns on their faces and hands so they can earn more. As they grow older their earnings decrease, which gets most of them involve in robbery and prostitution. Child begging is the exploitation of children for money making reasons.

Most of the people view it as way of relief for their hunger and unsatisfied needs. Earlier people believed that beggars were be physically disabled people who could not find work so they have to beg for their survival. However it has been noticed that nowadays that majority of them are physically normal children but due to their un-hygienic condition they may prone to get health problems. If we want to discourage child begging we need to see its impact on the child’s physical, educational, emotional health and psychological development.
Begging neglects all children’s basic rights of physical and educational needs. Physical needs include insufficient food resources, housing and hygiene. Educational needs include getting in a school at proper age. However to fulfill their basic needs that is food and to relieve their hunger and to get the physical strength children need money and they beg to earn money. We can say that poor families forcing their children to adopt the role of primary income earner but by doing this they are ignoring their childhood basic life needs such as schooling.

Child’s begging results in child’s emotional insecurity and fear of being threatened or hurt by older or stronger street peers. Begging puts children under pleasure and they loose confidence in their own ability to deal with any difficult situation. During this period the life of child beggars, is like a honeymoon period which is characterized by freedom and excitement, becoming a part of experimentation.

Begging is exploitation besides the work they are doing. They are also abused physically, mentally and sexually by the people around them.
Begging impairs a child’s psychological development who develop anti social behavior including living with a complexity or fear. A child beggar gets separated from his family, has low self esteem, and is likely to hold self negative behavior. It seems parents of child beggars are less sensitive to their children’s basic needs. Poor families cannot provide their children with a sense of belonging, which is necessary to promote children's interest. If a child is moved away from his parents than his psychological development gets impaired and there is a chance that the child will develop some kind of mental disorder in his adulthood, which may result in having  antisocial behaviors in him and he may involved in substance abuse and harm their health. In fact people believe that begging is socially shameful work.

Beggars need to kill their egos completely before starting to beg. Once they overcome this psychological barrier then nothing stop them from begging. They work very cleverly and they get used to it. Thus we can say that child begging results in failure to provide psychological care to him or her involves children in domestic violence and allows the child to participate in drugs and alcohol abuse. Eradication of beggars specially the children beggars is very necessary, giving them money is not only the solution to help them overcome their problem because it may only increase the chances of child begging on a regular basis and does not solve the root cause.

Street Children and child abuse
While most child workers have homes to return, the street children are completely alone and at the mercy of their employers, and circumstances night and day. Their number of meals is one to three daily, often getting leftover from the restaurants and eating-places in the areas they hang around. Many are also found in the vicinity of religious shrines where people donate food for the poor.
When these innocent children leave their homes whatsoever is the reason, they do not expect or anticipate the dire consequences. When they become exposed to the outer world they come to know how cruel and corrupt it is. They are at the mercy of criminals, drug addicts, traffickers and the police.
This is the most vulnerable group to Child Sexual Abuse. They are forcefully involved in it by the organized crime network, and latter it becomes a means of survival in the streets. Their erratic existence some times produces distortion of the mind in the younger children who lose track of time, and distance, they do not know how long they are wandering. The unhygienic living and eating patterns of these children lead them to wards variety of health problems, like malnutrition bacterial and parasitic infections, skin ailments due to exposure to the extreme conditions of weather. Studies show that among the most serious threats to the health of street children is their high degree of the exposure to drugs and sexual abuse. They use cigarettes, alcohol and different drugs. Drugs that are easily available are solvents, marijuana, crack and glue. This is a new observed phenomenon of intoxication in the street children. These children also have a higher risk of acquiring STD and HIV because of their exploitation by AID sufferers, junkies and abusers.
They are often looked upon as delinquents, so nobody is willing to employ them in their homes and workplaces. This rejection from the society has an effect on the society. They develop anti social behavior, become criminals abusers, addicts, molesters, robbers, or drug traffickers just at the age of 16 to 18 years. They have no faith in humanity, no obligation. They know no law, no education, no system, no future and no life.

HIV/AIDS increasing in country
Most of the 15,000-20,000 estimated child sex workers present in Lahore live in areas near bus stands and railway station. Male child prostitution is more common than any other form of commercial sexual exploitation in Pakistan.
Though the trend of selling organs (kidney.) for cash does not seem to have caught hold in Lahore or was not reported, quite a few children were aware of the fact that they could sell their blood for money if the need arose. The limited blood screening facilities make such practice extremely unsafe and can spread HIV/AIDS on a rapid scale. Though not a single child admitted to resorting to this practice, they had come to know about this through adult drug addicts.
In Pakistan, the estimated population aged below 18 years is 71 million, and 3.6 million children are involved in child labour. About 1.2 million children are on the streets in Pakistan’s large cities, working as beggars, vendors or shoeshine boys.

Two million youth in karachi drugs addicts:

In Karachi the main addiction is of Hashish, because this drug is easily available at every nook and corner of the city. The main trafficking areas of hashish are Chanessar Goth, Dhobi Ghat and Massan near Keamair, he said.  In Karachi more than 25000 children are living on streets and they are highly vulnerable to HIV/AIDS, as they are also involved in sexual activities, he said, adding that 74 % of these street children are addicts. He said drug supply is available all around the city through those street children.

Pakistan 1.2 million street children abandoned  and exploited

An estimated 1.2 million children are on the streets of Pakistan's major cities and urban centres, constituting the country's largest and most ostracised social group. These include 'Runaway' children who live or work on the street, as well as the minority that return to their families at the end of the day with their meagre earnings.
"World Vision is gravely concerned with their growing numbers. Children are turningto the streets amidst increasing poverty, unemployment, swelling family size and social disintegration seen in abuse in schools, as well as domestic violence, neglect and family breakdown," said World Vision Country Director, Sigurd Hanson.
"Street wise" as early as four, these children beg and scavenge around rubbish dumps or industrial waste sites or take on menial jobs as cart pushers or dish washers, working 12-15 hours a day to earn around 75 rupees or US.25- enough to buy a meal if they are fortunate. Most survive by prostituting themselves, stealing or smuggling, making them vulnerable to contracting sexually transmitted infections, HIV/AIDS, Tuberculosis, Jaundice and liver or kidney disorders. A large proportion sniffs cheap, readily available solvents to starve off hunger, loneliness and fear.In order to save children from child labour and to help them avoid this insecure profession, we need to create and build an environment which is safe and supportive for them. It requires preventive measures, providing of adequate services like food, shelter and training to support those who beg as a profession.

Caring for children
The rise in incidents of street crime in Karachi and other cities of Pakistan has been the subject of a report released this week by a local NGO. What the report highlights is the growing number of street children involved in this activity. This is cause for alarm. There has been a significant rise in the number of street children, particularly in Karachi says the report adding that the reasons for children running away from their homes include domestic violence, sexual abuse and corporal punishment at schools, especially madressahs. This is an issue that has to be dealt in a proactive manner. It may be noted that street children end up joining gangs which offer them protection in return for working on the streets. The gangs force the children into prostitution and crime. There has been a rise in child prostitution in the cities as a consequence of this.  Also, incidents of petty crime have also risen as children are forced to beg, steal and borrow to retain their gang membership. Many of the children also turn to drugs and other substance abuse which only complicates the problem.

First we need to build this insight amongst ourselves that we will treat who are beggars with kindness and respect them and if we want to help them we could offer them food instead of giving them money.

We as a part of this nation need to ensure that beggars are able to live successfully with better lifestyle and also they permanently get rid of begging.Beacuse as we already aware that child beggars are already at risk as they have short term and long term impact on their lives. Each one of us from this society has a responsibility to ensure that these vulnerable children are protected. If we are able to do so we should give them one to one support, provide positive alternate activities or work for earning. All community people and stake holders should jointly resist any form of child begging using their best resources. Being community health care workers we should organize awareness programs for the community people especially sensitizing the parents regarding children rights and growth of development. We also need to work with the NGO’s with the consensus of community leaders. to identify their basic needs and its alternative solutions which can help them in growing children’s quality life, specially the child beggars need to provide education, professional training, food and accommodation so that they become useful citizens of our country.

Have a blessed time:)

Women have strength

 women,s day special

♥♥♥
                             ♥♥Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ♥♥♥Ƹ̴Ӂ̴Ʒ♥♥♥ THANKS ♥♥♥Ƹ̴Ӂ

                            ♥    AMANDA NICHIPOR ♥

Women have strength beyond muscular ability. Life begins in a womans body, what stronger power is there than that? We have a strength in will and dedication. We wear many faces, as mothers, sisters, daughters and wives. We have a responsibility far greater than that of any wage paying job, our jobs are priceless. We tend to our husbands, we raise our children, we take care of our mothers and we are always there for our sisters. We do not get paid, we pay a price. We sacrifice all of our personal dreams in order to make the dreams of others come true. We love what we do but forget to love ourselves too, we're often last on our own list. We may never get a thank you or even a silent acknowledgment but we know that God is watching over us and for every thing we do, we are being blessed by God. We don't need anything more than that. All the hard work we do now, is only the less work we'll have to do in heaven/paradise. (  i would like to thanks for AMANDA NICHIPOR  who  writes these beautiful  words on the behalf of my request thank u so much  stay blessed)

Dont you think she deserves more love

Don't you think She deserves more love.

Don't you think she deserves more love.

In this article I want to discuss about a creature about who nobody from us can say that he or she has never a relation with that creature. In fact everybody has a deep relation with this creature of God Almighty.
In old times people mark the girls as a signs of bad luck and curse. In many nations it was a habit to bury their live daughters just after their birth. They thought through this act they can master their luck, and can turn it in to good luck. They also use to shed blood of their girls for their fake gods. If they would shed the blood of a virgin women, their god would reward them with good luck, wealth and health.
In our world women have been playing several roles. Like wife, daughter, sister and mother. All these roles are respectful. If we talk about a daughter, she take care of her parents. As a daughter she completes her duties, she respect her parents, she feed them when they reach to old age. Take care of their medicine etc.

As a sister she love her brothers and sisters, play with them. Wife completes her duties by being a modest, loving and good wife. She takes good care of you, your children and your house, but we do neglect all her efforts.

Today I want to grab your attention towards the most beautiful creature of this world MOTHER. A word full of love, try to say this word slowly and a little loudly, so that your ears can listen your voice. Try, it will free you from all the worries, tensions and you will feel yourself in trusted protection of your mothers arm.
How can we forget all the love, all the services she had given to us? When we grow up as much as we can take care of ourselves, how we can forget that now it is our time to payback all that love and care.
Why we let them die in the old houses. The raising trend of old houses is just because we don’t want our parents to interfere in our lives, such a cruelty.

She sacrifices a lot of things for us. She risks her life to give birth to us. She suffers the pain of pregnancy for nine month. After giving birth to the child her duties not come to end. She nurses her child, take care the child. Her favors to us are countless.

How can we forget this beautiful creature of God? According to me she is a most wonderful blessing of God Almighty.

“Oh God I am really thankful to you from the bottom of my heart. That you have bless me with your most wonderful creature on this plant, and saves me from being one of the lists, who loses their mothers from the right beginning of their lives. I am thankful; to you that you have let me a chance to serve my mother although she is not with me now (may ALLAH give my mom in the best place in heaven), and I beg you for the strength so that we can take good care of our mothers”.

In the last I beg you all to pay attention to the woman, who has devoted all her life for you people.

THIS post dedicated to all women  including me :)

what women say and and what they really mean

what do they meamn1
She tells you she’ll accompany you to a dinner party, and she seems to really want to. Later on, though, she gets angry at you for having made her go. Sound familiar?
Men and women are very distinct creatures. While men have a tendency to be straightforward, women are often not so simple. When trying to understand what she really means, you are sometimes better off reading between the lines.
But don’t get disheartened just yet. The following cheat sheet with help you bridge the gap between what she means and what she says. From asking her out to being in a relationship to breaking up, the list below will equip you with all you need to know to understand what she’s really trying to tell you.
THE PURSUIT PHASE
what do they meamn2
She says: “I don’t want to ruin our friendship.”
What she means: I am not attracted to you, or I don’t feel enough chemistry to date you — but I do like you as friend.
Why she does this: She probably does want to remain friends, but doesn’t want to hurt your feelings by admitting that she doesn’t feel the same attraction for you.
What you should do: Don’t take it personally; she just doesn’t feel the same chemistry as you do. Take the hint and work on being friends with her, if that’s what you want.
She says: “I’m just so busy with work right now.”
What she means: I am not interested in fitting you into my schedule.
Why she does this: She wants to let you down easy. Instead of being blunt, she is hoping you’ll just get the picture.
What you should do: When a woman likes a man, she will always find time for him — no matter what her schedule is like. So don’t kid yourself into thinking that the situation might change. Instead, move on right away.
She says: “Are you seeing anyone right now?”
What she means: I might like to submit an application for the position of your girlfriend.
Why she does this: She wants to make sure she is not wasting her precious flirting energy on a man who is already spoken for.
What you should do: Answer honestly, and then hit her up for her phone number.
Things she says during the dating phase and what they really mean
THE DATING PHASE
what do they meamn4
She says: “Do you really want to go to that restaurant/movie/dinner party?”
What she means: I really don’t want to go to.
Why she does this: She doesn’t want to go, but she doesn’t want to appear stubborn either. She is probably hoping you’ll sense her hesitation and come up with an alternate plan that pleases her.
What you should do: If you have your heart set on going to that particular destination, stick to your guns. Otherwise, you might want to switch up in order to please her. Remember this: If you keep her happy, she’ll keep you happy.
She says: “You have a knack for dealing with kids. They really seem to respond to you.”
What she means: I am contemplating eventually having children with you and am wondering where you stand in that department.
Why she does this: An indirect question is her way of feeling you out without freaking you out.
What you should do: Don’t freak out. She is probably thinking very distantly into the future (yes, women do this). If, however, you absolutely positively know that you never want kids, this would be a good time to say it.
She says: “Where is this relationship going?”
What she means: I would like us to graduate to a more serious, exclusive relationship.
Why she does this: She wants you to be the one to suggest exclusivity.
What you should do: This depends on whether or not you actually want exclusivity. If so, suggest it. If not, let her know that you care about her, but are not interested in being exclusive right now.
She says: “I feel so close to you right now. You know me so well.”
What she means: I am starting to feel the l-word, but I don’t want to be the first to say it.
Why she does this: It’s a scary thing to be the first to say “I love you.” It’s much easier for her to hint and hope that you’ll take the plunge first.
What you should do: Do not — under any circumstances — say the l-word if you don’t mean it. If you do feel it, then go ahead; otherwise, don’t say anything. In the long run, you’ll be happy not to get entangled in such a lie.
She says: “I feel like our relationship is stuck in a routine right now.”
What she means: I want you to be more romantic and spontaneous, and surprise me more. I need you to pay more attention to my needs.
Why she does this: She doesn’t want to hurt your feelings and admit that you are, in part, the cause of the rut.
What you should do: You don’t need to change your personality entirely, but it wouldn’t kill you to surprise her every once in a while. Call her out of the blue and tell her you’re taking her for dinner, go on a spontaneous weekend away, or just surprise her with her favorite chocolates.
What does it mean if she tells you some guy was flirting with her all night, if she asks whether you get along with your mother, and all those strange things she says when you’re breaking up
She says: “A man was flirting with me all night.”
What she means: Does it make you jealous?
Why she does this: She wants you to know that she’s a hot commodity and that other men are interested in her. She wants you to appreciate what you have.
What you should do: Don’t respond to it in a way she’ll expect, like by getting angry or jealous. Instead, pay her a compliment — she’s definitely fishing for it. Don’t get all insane with jealousy; just let her know what she means to you, or else she’ll be playing this card every so often to set you straight.
She says: “Do you get along well with your mother?”
What she means: Are you a family man
Why she does this: A man who gets along with his mother tends to be more loyal, sensitive and devoted — at least that’s the stereotype that a lot of women buy into.
What you should do: Talk about how close you and your mother are; you could even tell a couple of stories. Just enough to affirm that yes, you get along with her.
THE BREAKUP PHASE
yeah
She says: “I’m just not ready to make a commitment.”
What she means: I’m not ready to commit to you, and may never be.
Why she does this: She uses this tactic to soften the blow; nine times out of 10, this means that she doesn’t see a future with you… ever.
What you should do: Don’t stick around until she’s ready to make a commitment. Chances are, when she’s finally ready, it won’t be with you.
She says: “I think we should stay friends.”
What she means: I am trying to cut you out of my life gradually.
Why she does this: She thinks it would be easier to gradually stop seeing you instead of going cold turkey. She may even want to keep you around as a backup.
What you should do: Stay friends if you like. But don’t let yourself become the backup guy. If she wants to get back together down the line, ask yourself if she’s only doing it because she hasn’t found anyone else.
She says: “I’m not angry.”
What she means: I’m angry.
If she’s pursing her lips and not speaking to you, but claims she’s not angry, she’s probably bluffing. She could simply be bottling up her anger or she may think that her man should just know why she’s upset, without her having to tell him.
What you should do: Try to figure out why she’s upset and talk about it. The issue is not going to go away. In fact, if you don’t deal with it, she’ll just have bottled-up anger towards you and it’ll come back to bite you later.
She says: “I think of you as a brother.”
What she means: I’m not attracted to you.
It means she’s letting you know that she’s not into you, and may be it’s kinder than telling you the truth.
What you should do: In this case, just don’t make a move on her.
She says: “I like your friends, but…”
What she means: I don’t like your friends.
She doesn’t want to insult you or your friends, so she’s not telling you outright how much she dislikes them. She probably thinks they’re a bad company and wants you to hang out with them less.
What you should do: If she has a valid reason to dislike them, then you might take her concerns into consideration. Otherwise, simply tell her that your friends are equally important to you.
She says: “You don’t communicate enough.”
What she means: How do you feel about our relationship?
She wants to know what you feel where the relationship is going, but doesn’t want to come off as needy.
What you should do: Put her mind at ease and tell her what you think about the relationship.
She says: “Why don’t you try to kiss me like this?”
What she means: I don’t like the way you do it.
She doesn’t want to hurt your feelings. But this is not all bad, she likes you enough to want to work at it and make it better.
What you should do: Try it her way and see how it goes.
She says: “I really like that guy’s hair.”
What she means: I don’t like yours.
She figures that it’s a lot nicer to hint at this than to tell you outright.
What you should do: Get a second opinion on your hair. She may be right. But, if your second opinion tells you otherwise, feel free to stick to your guns and your hairstyle. In that case, just pretend that you didn’t get her hint.
READ BETWEEN THE FEMALE LINES
between the lines
By now, you should know that a woman’s words can be very loaded. Unlike a man, she often uses hints and insinuations to steer you in her direction. Her way isn’t necessarily better or worse than yours — just different. But after perusing the above list, you should be armed and ready for any curve balls she might send your way.
The end
